Nathan Sword

Nathan Sword was born at the end of the eighteenth century in Russell County, Virginia. He married there, but moved to Lee County, Virginia and then, for a while to Harlan County Kentucky where his wife's family had moved. The family later moved back to Lee County, Virginia. He bought and sold land in Russell (1,2), and Lee (1,2) Counties Virginia and Harlan County, Kentucky (1) during his life time. Some of his children were born in each of the counties as a result of our moving around. Their places of birth are recorded in their marriage records.
