Frances Bonner was born around 1780 in North Carolina to Henry and Elizabeth Bonner. She married James Satterfield 05 March 1795 in Chowan County, North Carolina. They had six children Henry B, Alfred, Thomas, James Lawrence, Elizabeth and Fanny. James died before 10 April 1824 and she went to court to deed some of the slaves to our children. She did this because she was remarrying. Frances married William R. H. Bozman 11 April 1824 in Chowan County, North Carolina. He, too, died before she did. Frances lived with her son Thomas and his family where in June of 1853 sje wrote her will. (1,2). Frances died before May 1854 when her will was proven in court. She left what she had to my grand children and Thomas's wife Penelope.
