Joseph Perry Ford

Joseph Perry Ford was born shortly before the United States census of 1870. His birth was in Gonzales County, Texas as his mama Laura went to her parents to have him. She and Joseph's dad had moved to Milam County, Texas. His dad died a couple of years later and Joseph's mama moved their family back to Gonzales where she had her family to help raise the children. Joseph Perry Ford married Zaidee Bell Baker in 1891. Their marriage is recorded in Gonzales County, Texas. They kept a record of their important dates in their Family Bible. (1,2,3,4,5). They moved to Smith County, Texas where some of their children were born and all five of them died. Joseph died in 1940 and is resting in the Bethesda cemetery in Smith County, Texas
