Julia Flournoy

I was the last child born to Martha Ann Rebecca Ward Camp and William Cannon Flournoy in February of 1838. My dad died in September of that same year. I married William Rivers in 1857 and we had 6 children together. My oldest son, Flournoy Rivers became a grand Tennessee lawyer and wrote family history articles for a newspaper that have been compiled in the "Flournoy Rivers' Manuscripts". These manuscripts have given the family history a page or pages in history forever. We are still impressing upon our descendants the importance of family and our heritage.
