Joseph Wright

Joseph Wright was born 17 March 1667 in Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts to Deacon Joseph Wright and Elizabeth Ann Hassell. He was the second generation born in the New World. His family came here and were some of the original settlers of Woburn, Massachusetts. Their family has its records preserved in the town records where they recorded their births, marriages, and deaths. His birth is registered there as was his marriage to Rachel Brooks on 19 November 1729. He was rather old to be marrying for the first time. Rachel and Joseph had one child, Rachel before mhisdeath 19 September 1732.
