Jonathan Smith was the oldest son of William Smith born around 1646 as in his fathe'rs estate papers it said he was 23 in January 1699(1670). He married and moved to Glastonbury, Connecticut where he left some of his land and home place to his son Gersham in 1710. (1,2) Later, in as 1714 as he prepared to leave the Town of Glastonbury he deeded my land to his three sons, Richard, Gersham, and Joseph. |
