Sarah Jane F. Towers

Sarah Jane Towers was born the 15th day of April in the year 1850 to George W. and Rhoda Elizabeth Gill Towers. She married John Bramlett August 11 1868 in Georgia. they had 9 children, 7 sons and 2 daughters. Some were born n Georgia, some in Alabama as they moved to Cherokee County shortly before the 1880 census was taken. Before the 1900 census the couple had relocated, along with some of their children to Hunt County, Texas. Their sons George an Leonard were left behind in Alabama. She died in 1923 in Tarrant County, Texas, where death certificates were being issued by law.
