Nancy Janie Spence

Jane was probably born in Rome, Georgia on 1 November 1867. She moved with her family to Cherokee County, Alabama where she met and married her husband John Wesley Bramlett in 1888

They moved from Alabama to Georgia on to Texas and then to Oklahoma. They had 8 children together, 2 sons and 6 daughters. She saw all her daughters marry and knew her grandchildren and many of her great grandchildren. She died 11 June 1957 while living in a Rest Home in Hugo, OK and was laid to rest in the Soper Cemetery. Her death, birth and other information was placed on her Death Certificate by one of her daughters.
