I served with my brothers Amos, Jeremiah, Isaac and William in the War of 1812 from January to July 1814 in Captain Joshua Ingram's Company of Infantry, Belonging to Lt. Col. Reuben Nash's Reg't South Carolina Volunteer Militia as a Private. (1,2,3,4)
